Background into the brief

The live brief set by ledgard jepson for work based learning 2, is to rebrand 'the council of british archaeology.


Objectives


Revised name for organisation
Create new visual identity, colours, fonts, tone
Create a brand promise, strap line
Incorporate the regions and sub brands, FBA, YAC
Corporate literature - membership leaflet, brochure, newsletter, magazine, etc


The CBA get funding through memberships and donations and the want broaden there range of people joining. Currently the brand looks old fashioned and throughout the brand and sub parts there is no corporate look connecting them. It needs to look fresh to gain more members, different people, so they can establish a stronger market position.
